Alrighty, new movie time! We have a pretty decent selection of talkies coming out this week: the triquel from 2 stoners, a bunch of Joe Nobody's robbing Hawkeye Pierce, a dirty cop movie, and next Wednesday, Leonardo Di Caprio stars in yet another biopic. And I. Recommend. All of them. ...sort of..
First on the list: A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas. I have to admit, the first time I saw that this was going to actually be a thing, I literally threw up from my eye balls. It was a horrible experience and I don't recommend it to anyone. Then, I actually sat down and watched the trailer for it and ate that vomit.. from my eyes.. I mean.. figuratively. All of that was figurative. This looks pretty spectacular when all is said and done. NPH being his NPH self, and Harold and Kumar are still mixing it up Rosencrantz and Guildenstern style through everyone else's world. I have just one word: THIS:
Harold and Kumar's Christmas Spectacular: As much as it pains me, this may actually be worth the 3D price to get the full effect of boobs and dicks in your face!
Tower Heist: Despite the "been there done that" plot, there aren't too many comedic heist movies nowadays. Totally worth giving it a chance, I think.
The Son of No One: This screams, "Watch me on DVD" so loudly that I had to rip my speakers from the computer.
J. Edgar: There are rumors that this movie has been "de-gayed" whatever that means. Still, if you can handle heavy handed dramas in the theater, give it a shot! Otherwise, wait til you can get ahold of this at home.
